The apartment is good for people who are internationals because they don't have to worry about anything else, but again I want an apartment which is well furnished and i didn't get one while applying so I'd say if you don't have another choice, take a place at baity.
Pros: It is near to the KFBS
Cons: There is no way you're going to enjoy your weekend if you don't have a car! Get a car if you're planning to stay at Baity.

A very seamless experience. Not disturbance or intrusion from building management. Any maintenance activities are taken care of immediately. Close walk to the business school. The main downside is there is no grocery shop in walking distance and access to public transportation is very limited.

Very convenient as it is next to business school. However, there are not many stores or supermarkets nearby. You need a car to go to such places.

Also, no amenities.

Baity Hill is really great for the price. It is not fancy, it is not new. But it does the job! Parking is available at each building (but is very expensive). You can walk to KFBS building, which is fantastic, but you'll have to drive for groceries or Franklin Street or Carborro (~5min each). There is a laundry room which charges fair prices. Very safe area! There is no pool or gym in the complex. Mail/Package delivery is a little difficult.

I enjoy living close to school and being able to walk to class. The area is great for students who usually want to opt into the fun party scene and still be able to focus on work when needed.

My family and I really enjoyed living a baby Hill. The Building Maintenance is frequently upkept and I appreciate that utilities are included in our rent expense. The management team tries to create Interactive events and experiences for the tenants.

Rent is relatively low; residents are all UNC students so people are nice; not very convenient for laundry and trash removal.

Overall, I liked living here. The best thing is how close it is to the business school - a 3 minute walk. There are great places to run, and main campus is not too far away (it is walkable). The buildings are quiet, and quite a few MBA students live here. Downsides are that parking is expensive (you have to pay UNC rates), and there can be a bit of a pest problem.

Outdated appliances and carpeting but the location is excellent, the space is big, and the neighborhood is very quiet.
