Great Value, Some Compromises
I would recommend not living directly next to the trash rooms if you can avoid it. My apartment has carried a trash smell throughout my time here, and there's not much you can do about it. Otherwise, the building is a totally fine place to live - nothing glitzy but great space and great value for the price. I have heard of some people having cockroach issues, but I have never had them myself. Also, I can hear everything in my neighbor's living room when I am in my living room, so the walls are quite thin.

Resident
It's a reasonably priced apartment. Don't expect flawless rooms and amenities at this price. It's not a luxurious apartment but it's worth the rent

Great price for location
Great price for location, has roof lounge and indoor pool/gym free for residents. In the heart of the city and east to take public transportation almost anywhere, especially Rush

All you really need
For the price, it is spacious, has a good view (if you're in the 05 line or on the south corner if you're with roommates), and the pool is good. The gym is sub-par so I have a membership at LA fitness.
Great value and close to metra and friends.

It's fine
I like MPP. It isn't the fanciest apartment nearby but it's great to be in the same building as everyone from school.

MPP
Very spacious, but the walls are a bit thin. Great to be able to easily see / hang out with other Boothies. Very convenient to take the train to campus, but the area is more touristy and offices than it is residential.

Great Place
The price to sq-footage ratio is incredibly reasonable in that I get 670 sq feet for only $1825. I'm facing Michigan Ave, which can be noisy with car horns, parades, or street music most days, but it's not unbearable or constant. The sunlight is decent, but nothing amazing. The location is pretty generic and touristy and most restaurants close around 9 or 10pm, but the distance to the Metra and the L makes getting around the city convenient.

MPP Review
The apartments are old and some of the amenities are dated but a majority of Booth students live in this building which is a big advantage

MPP
MPP isn't the nicest apartment of all time but it is a good price and it is extremely convenient since a ton of Boothies live there. I highly recommend living at MPP if you want to be involved in the social scene at Booth. It is also just across the street from the train to get to UChicago.

The Loop Reviews
Very close to the lake and navy pier
Great park surrounded by all the buildings.
There’s good supermarket that has everything. A couple restaurants and coffee shops are also there.
That being said, if you're anywhere near State St. or the Mag mile, there's pretty much people around at any given hour. It's fun to live downtown because the streets are bustling with interesting people, sometimes there's live music on street corners and there are a lot of restaurants and shops.
