Get what you pay for
Spacious and convenient. Unofficial booth dorm. Apartments are a bit old and Management is very slow to do repairs

Good for students
If you don't plan on staying in your room for most hours, MPP is a bang-for-buck and a great option. Downside is if you live by Michigan Ave, there is bound to be some kind of event/ruckus happening on weekends so can get quite noisy.

Booth life
It is great to live there while at Booth. Lots of pregames and activities and very easy to visit your friends.
Building does not have in unit washer/dryer, and staff is not always the best.

Good for what you're paying
MPP is good value for the rent you're paying. There are not too many couples who choose to live in MPP given that they can likely afford a better place, but if you are in a couple it is a great money saving option with very few downsides. Some pros are that everyone lives here and it's cheap and convenient. Cons are that there are some floor plans that are not great (check before you sign!!) and the building is a bit old, although some apartments are refurbished. However the living room and bedrooms are huge.

Location & community
Though I would not live in the Loop if I were working, MPP is the ideal location for a Booth student. It's across the street from the Metra station (which we take to go to campus) and many students live here which makes for a strong community. It's also nice not having to put shoes on to go for movie nights at a friend's place, especially in the winter. Though there is a fair share of pre-games / parties happening around, it is very much an "opt-in" culture, and if you want to do your own thing that's your choice. The building itself is on the older side but everything works in my unit and the maintenance team is very responsive. If at all possible, it is nice to visit the unit you're looking to rent beforehand as some are newly renovated. If you're very sensitive to street noises, units facing East are highly recommended - those facing West (Michigan Ave) are mostly fine if you're higher than floor 20 as the windows muffle most sounds, but city noises are unavoidable, though I have now tuned it out and gotten used to it. The gym is pretty standard - it is currently being renovated and should be finalized by end of 2022. There is an indoor pool but I have never used it.

GREAT apartment
This apartment is great. I have a gorgeous corner room with an unbelievable view of Michigan Avenue and Millenium/Grant Park and I personally pay $1150 a month which is less than a lot of students in my class. The El is only 3 blocks away and is a straight shot to Rush. I have lived here for 3 years with friends from college/back home and we are not planning on leaving. Definitely come check the place out!

Great Building, Mostly MBA students
Super Central, great access via Metra, good value. Not fancy

Great Building, Not Fancy
Mostly a Business Student Building (60% of Boothies live here). Great access to school via Metra, good value.

Cheap and easy
MPP is a great value option compared to the other options in the Loop - and to be clear, it's still the most spacious apartment I've lived in. It's just so convenient to live across the street from the Metra and live in the same building as so many other classmates. The Loop isn't an ideal location overall given so many other neighborhoods in Chicago are nicer, but it's a no brainer given everyone else lives nearby.

The Loop Reviews
Very close to the lake and navy pier
Great park surrounded by all the buildings.
There’s good supermarket that has everything. A couple restaurants and coffee shops are also there.
That being said, if you're anywhere near State St. or the Mag mile, there's pretty much people around at any given hour. It's fun to live downtown because the streets are bustling with interesting people, sometimes there's live music on street corners and there are a lot of restaurants and shops.
