Quiet Off Campus Apartment with Great Amenities
I've lived at The Haven of Ann Arbor for all of medical school and plan to stay here for my complete 5 years (MD+MPH). My apartment is spacious and renovated, including a balcony, wood-burning fire place, and ample storage options. In apartment washer and dryer. I have a two bedroom, two bathroom with a loft. Vaulted ceilings with my floor plan. The complex has free parking, and you can pay for covered parking if you wish. Amenities include a clubhouse with a pool table and study room with printer, two cycling studios and a gym with cardio equipment, two cable machines, and free weights. There's a lovely pool with gas grills, a tennis court, volleyball court, and car washing station. There's a building for laundry and vending machines if you choose to live in a studio apartment. Extremely dog and cat friendly, with a large dog park at the center and lots of trails for walking nearby. We are located next to the trail that leads you to the botanical gardens. It's about a 7-10 minute drive to UM Hospital, a 5 minute drive to Domino's Farms and East Ann Arbor Clinic for preference for rotations, and is near the Huron River/dam for running, kayaking, fishing, etc. Bus line located right at the complex. Friendly management and very responsive maintenance team. Additional storage space for $25/mo if you need it. Have not had many cons of living here, which is why I'll be here all 5 years. Highly recommend. A few medical students and several residents live here. It feels nice to have a space that's a bit more off campus to go home to each day. Located right next to the highway for easy access to Ann Arbor, which can make it a little noisy if you're on the side of the highway, but I've gotten used to it, and apartments on the side near the forest is quieter.

Wonderful
This is overall a wonderful place to live. Downsides include being a bit further from the med school but it is an easy drive or bus ride away. But much cheaper and nicer than places near the school.

A little far from campus, but worth it!
Honestly, a great experience overall. I wanted somewhere quiet and a patio so my dog could easily go outside. We have plenty of room, including a little office for me to study in, for nearly the same price as a shoebox studio in White Coat. There's plenty of parking a the complex and we're right next to the highway so it's convenient for my partner to get to work. There's a nearby bus stop to get to campus or you can get an Orange parking pass. It's also great to be so close to a park and the botanical gardens for running and biking.

A Quiet Community to Call Home
These are relatively updated and clean apartments in a great community off of the highway. I personally don't have an issue with highway noise. It feels like a gated community although it's not gated. Trees surround the entire complex. The community has many great amenities like a gym, study room/computer/printer room, a dog park, a pool and sauna, a tennis court and volleyball court, a car washing station, and a dog park as well as children's park. The amenities are clean. The apartments are fairly spacious. Parking is free. There is in unit washer/dryer for most apartments. You're allowed to paint the walls and hang items. The only downside is there a good amount of spiders and bugs in warmer months, but they do offer to spray the apartments weekly.

Wonderful place, wonderful price
The Haven is really wonderful. The apartments are super up to date and the facilities are really nice. There is a pool, tennis court, spin room, fitness center, dog park, and yoga room. Nice, safe, quiet area with lots of space. A really great price for what you get. The only downsides are that it is about a 15 minute drive or 30 minute bus ride from the medical school.

Village Green review
The property is old and poorly maintained. The rent seems high for the state of the property, and no utilities are included. There is no underground parking; instead, residents can pay for a carport for $50/mo. There is only one trash collection site, which most residents have to drive to.
The clubhouse is nice and includes workout rooms, a racquetball court, and swimming pool. The complex has a nice walking trail along the interior that is good for dog-walking.
Village Green is located off-campus, so it's a quieter but requires a car for transportation.
