Good Location, Comfortable Apartment

I have enjoyed living here so far. The people who work in the building are super nice and helpful. The building is clean and my apartment is comfortable. I am a little less than a mile from the law building so my commute is really easy. My biggest issues are the AC/Heating system and the parking garage. The HVAC system is either AC or Heating for the whole building so there are a couple of weeks in the spring/fall where the it is too hot outside and no way to cool my apartment. The parking garage is the smallest garage i've ever seen. Parking is extremely difficult.

Review

The apartment is generally nice. There’s a gym and pay per load laundry services. The front desk staff is friendly and helpful. The only downside is that it is smoking friendly, if that would bother some people. Sometimes the hallways smell.

Good choice

Always greeted by a friendly face at the front desk. Rent is a little pricey but given the location, safety and fact that utilities are included, it is worthwhile for young professionals. Quiet most of the time (except when musicians practice their instruments from time to time). Maintainence work handled promptly.

Great place to live

Gallery Tower is a great choice for young professionals. Utilities included, events for residents held regularly, and maintainance issues always dealt with promptly. Staff are friendly and professional. Do wish they'd stop raising debt every year, though. But good location.

Good for a temporary location

Gallery Towers is a great place if you are new to Baltimore and looking for something centrally located and safe. The rooms are tiny and the price isn't great. I wouldn't plan to stay for too long, as you could rent a row home for the same price and have much more space.

Safe and a great view

Gallery Towers is in a safe area downtown across from the Walters Art Gallery. The 24 hour doorman was also great to have. There was a tiny gym and parking available underground. The units were nice with great views of Mount Vernon, but they are also extremely tiny.

Great place to live downtown Baltimore

Location: If you want to live downtown, but don't quite want to live downtown, this is perfect because it is actually at the cusp of Mt. Vernon and downtown B'more. Best of all, you still can get area 28 street parking (unlike if you actually live downtown).

The management and staff are super friendly, know most resident's names, and see to all requests almost immediately. The apartment itself is great; they just installed all brand new appliances in my apartment last year. Gym, pool, business center, trash, utilities, package signage, all included. They also organize events regularly for the residents-- pool party, hotdogs, dessert day, pancakes day, etc.

There are only one-bedrooms of various sizes. Populated by mostly young couples, hopkins grad students, working professionals. Small dogs and cats allowed.
