Rosslyn Heights reviews and highlights
- feels extremely safe
- parking is cheap
- doesn't get much sunlight
- walking distance to many shops, restaurants, and the metro
- centrally located between Georgetown and Clarendon
- management is usually responsive to requests
More sense of privacy and value
I really enjoy living at Rosslyn Heights compared to where I was living before (the Meridian at Courthouse). There's a better sense of privacy - I can't hear my neighbors at all. I have a balcony of my own. The location is amazing, & it's well-priced.

Quiet street in a great location
Walking distance to many shops, restaurants, and the metro. Amenities aren't as great as some of the newer buildings in the area, but for what we pay it's fine. Management is usually responsive to requests, elevators in each building make move in a lot easier!

Great location
The neighborhood itself is very quiet, but this apartment is centrally located between Georgetown and Clarendon. Key bridge is just a few blocks away. This is also between two metro stations -- Courthouse and Rosslyn. Its biggest downside is the gym!

Nice and economic apartment
I love living here! was just remodeled, has two pools a gym and we have all new appliances and a fireplace! The only downside is it doesn't get much sunlight, and getting packages delivered is a pain. But parking is cheap (65$ a month) which is the best I have seen for the area.

Great place to live
Rosslyn Heights has been an excellent place to live. Rosslyn isn't for everyone, but if you don't mind a quieter, but still fairly central location, you can get a much better value here. I get all of the amenities that are important to me including a lot more space and the location feels extremely safe. The staff are also incredible and really help make the apartments feel like home.

Great location with access to restaurants and social life
This apartment is located in a wonderful location with great amenities. It is close to lots of restaurants and bars and is only a short walk to the Rosslyn or Courthouse metro. Clarendon is also very accessible. The pools are in wonderful condition and there is a gym. In addition, it is located in a scenic area with lots of trees and not much traffic.

Rosslyn Heights
My stay at Rosslyn Heights was pretty good. The location is nice and quaint. The nearby area is also far less busy and noisy in comparison to DC (which is just across the bridge) Distance from school is about 15-17 minutes by metro (including the 10 minute walk) and is metro stop away from GWU. The management was co-operative at most times but their response time to our concerns was unimpressive. Furthermore, there are plenty of dining and nightlife option nearby. All in all, since I was sharing the apartment with 2 other roommates the overall cost of the apartment was split equally. (reduces rent cost compared to DC)

Close to school, lots of space for the money
For those looking to live in Rosslyn, the neighborhood is extremely safe and the apartment is within a few blocks of both the Rosslyn and the Courthouse Metro Stations. The Rosslyn GUTS bus shuttle stop is a few blocks down the hill, and the Arlington Loop which runs every hour drops off right in front of the apartment building, for a very safe ride home from campus late at night. The neighborhood is pretty quiet, and the apartments are fairly spacious with options of garage underground or parking lot parking spaces for a car. The buildings are pet-friendly - we have a 70lb dog and she has plenty of room to move around the apartment. The upper floors have wood burning fire places, which we enjoy in the winter to help heat the apartment with a cozy fire. Great place for a couple or for roommates to live. There is also a pool and an exercise facility, but we rarely use either.

Rosslyn Reviews
However, this has been a business district for ages. There is very little going on around here and many of the restaurants don’t even open on the weekends. But, that’s changing. So stay tuned!
(Also, I like living in Virginia because my vote counts for more here!)
If you have long legs, renting a bike is an option. If you are like me and 5'1'', renting a bike is an option for downhill rides.
There is a lot within walking distance in Rosslyn (think 20 min average from my apt): Barnes and Noble, shopping, Whole Foods, Trader Joe's (also on the Arlington loop shuttle from GU), public libraries, CVS, Target, Safeway, lots of restaurants.
Also close to dense populations of immigrant communities if you like Chinese, Vietnamese, Korean food.
Cons: Neighborhood shuts down after 5pm. Few restaurants in the neighborhood itself (this is getting better though). Concrete canyon effect because of the skyscrapers. Closest grocery store is an expensive Safeway.
