City Centre

The location is fantastic. It's very nice being downtown next to all of the bars and restaurants.

The amenities include a rooftop deck, very nice main lounge with games, and a full gym with great workout equipment.

Concerns include the relatively cheap build quality of the apartments, including external walls and windows. Internally, the kitchen space is nice. Bedrooms are a little small and can be oddly configured depending on the specific unit.

Management can ask for weird things and operate oddly but is incredibly responsive to any concerns. Transportation to Johnson is very easy with multiple bus routes available at all times.

Great Place for Couples

Great gym, nice rooftop patio for grilling out, and hosting small events. Free freshly ground coffee. Nice front desk staff.

We have had a very pleasant experience living at City Center. The amenities are beautiful and it is the newest apartment complex in Ithaca.

Overally it's a nice apartment building with good common areas and a gym. The building itself is cheaply built, we can hear what happens outside (people talking loudly, trucks, etc).

High end, but pricy!

Coming from New York City, this apartment is unnecessarily expensive. It is poorly built (shower doors leak, floors get marks from the furniture), the decor is atrocious (thing a hotel in vegas that caters to people with money and no taste), and using an app to open all doors instead of a regular key is one of the most unnecessary features I've ever been sold.

That said, management is very nice and location is excellent.

Great location in the commons and never had issues with management. Staff is quick to address emergencies and maintenance problems. Very high tech system. You use the Latch app to enter the building and enter your own apartment. Walls are pretty thick and facilities are new. Staff cleans floors and vacuums few times a day so I never had issue with cleanliness. Windows are floor to ceiling so you get a lot of sunlight. Rooftop provides great venue for afternoon hangouts during the spring/fall season.

The apartment is great, amenities couldn't be better and access to multiple bus lines

City Centre is a fantastic place to live. It is super pet friendly and right in the middle of everything. The staff is always courteous and food, bars, and bus stops are easy walking distance. It has become a place to party, but at the same time it all closes down at a reasonable time so everyone can sleep and you won’t be kept up if you don’t want to participate.
