Solid Apartment
I have lived here for about a year and half now & it is a solid apartment. Definitely on the more expensive side of apartment complexes here but pretty good for the money. There are a ton of other MBA students here which is nice & it has good amenities for a complex. I have a cat and the pet rent is a bit steep but overall has been a good apartment.

The Morgan
My wife and I like living here. It is conveniently located to school, it has a good dog park, and great pool and gym.
Most importantly there are many other KFBS students living here. That is the most important criteria to me, as it made making friends and transitioning back into school much easier

Overall Decent Experience
Good place to live while a student. A little shoddy craftsmanship on the infrastructure, but clean and friendly environment. Very safe.

Very happy with The Morgan
The Morgan has been a great place to live while at UNC. Moving from a city, it was an adjustment to not be in walking distance to everything. But the Morgan is right next to a gas station and 5 min from a grocery store, restaurants, and the gym I use. Overall, it's a really nice community with nice units.

The Morgan at Chapel Hill Review
main complaints are that complex is pretty far from any restaurants/bars/shops, bad issue with bugs (especially with warm weather), old appliances that often break and take a long time to get repaired, management can be rude

Great place, but not a lot to walk to
I like the look of the apartment, and how many classmates I live near. However, I would have preferred more amenities within walking distance, like Carrboro.

The Morgan is Awesome
The Morgan offers great apartments with a lot of space, conveniently located near campus, all at a great price.

Location great, older building.
The Morgan houses a good amount of students, which is helpful for carpooling and social events. The location is roughly 10 minutes from Kenan Flagler Business School.
Though they are doing renovations and have a lot of work going into the apartment complex, the apartments are older and have issues that older buildings tend to have, such as limited parking in the evenings, manual thermostats.
The pricing for the Morgan is comparable to some of the nicer, newer complexes nearby. Unless you can get a significantly lower price at the Morgan by signing early, it may be worth looking at other complexes nearby.

Gets the job done, but nothing special
Apartment is spacious and amenities (gym, pool, plentiful parking) are nice. Access to shared outdoor grills also a bonus. Unit itself is not well laid out (kitchen too small, lack of ceiling lights). Service has been unreliable (broken heater/AC three times in 18 months, patchwork fix on leaking window). Floors in unit are uneven in places. Utility pricing is VERY expensive ($175/month in summer), suggesting poor insulation.
