We pay an additional $121 on top of the rent for water, trash and sewer charges. Electricity and Gas is a whole other bill.

It is not a very well-maintained complex and part of the reason why I went for it was because of the large Indian community and it was the least expensive apartment that was also close enough to go to university by bus. However, buses are infrequent and it is not a well-connected spot without a personal vehicle. Consider on-campus because it'll make your life easier.

The apartments and surrounding are clean and neat and maintained well. Houses are spacious. The apartments include gym which is not very professional. The apartments also has basketball court, tennis court, squash court, and swimming pool included in the rent. The thing that bothers is less street lights. I feel utilities are also charges quite higher than expected. Students might also feel the place far from bus stop depending on the blocks they choose.

The property is great because it's close to UCI and the busstops. Maintenance is good too. But the apartments are very old.

If you want to get the Basics ticked, park west apartment homes would be a better option for most of the Indian students (Including other Internationals)

The community is safe and has wide-open spaces. Has good ameneties like gym, swimming pool, bunch of sports etc. But the apartment themselves are quite old with old technologies for locks, heaters, bathroom fittings. Guest parking is a pain.

Places are good, nice housing but not sure about how they keep swimming pools clean. I saw ducks swimming in the pool but the office doesn't really care and did nothing after that.

Park West has known to be notorious for a pest infestation and bad conditions. Honestly, I discounted that and chose to live here anyway. But that was probably one of the worse decisions of my life. The pest infestations and the inconvenience which comes with that is insane and almost takes over your life. Moreover, apartments here have thin walls and popcorn ceiling (which is bad for your health). It is closer to campus but it is definitely not worth it.

It has a pool, which is nice, but the gym is extremely small and does not have important weight equipment.
