Solid
It is solid for the price as it is much cheaper than Foundry, and you get yours furnished for much cheaper as well. There are better options price-wise if you are willing to live at Fischer Graduate Residences but Overlook is a solid option for price and what you get in your room. This is your best bet if you want to live alone for a decent price close to Mendoza.

Close to Campus
If you are looking to walk to campus, this apartment is a great location!

Overlook at Notre Dame Review
Overall, I have a positive experience with Overlook

Overall pretty great
Overlook has served its purpose and is not horribly expensive. The location is OK since you have to walk to everything. However, that means the noise is a bit lower vs other places.

Overlook 2022
Good apartment, definitely expensive, they really add on a lot of additional charges like electricity, water, and parking, which are typical. They also have random charges like rent reporting, credit card storage for payments, and others that I can't think off-hand. Besides that, the place is definitely big enough for 1 person and is super close to campus. It's across the street from the athletics side of campus. It is nice to have lived in a only graduate student apartment as well. Everyone is roughly the same age and has a similar interest in school work intensity as well as enjoying the weekend.

Overall, a Great Place
Everything's been pretty good about it. It's relatively inexpensive with most of the utilities factored in. Electricity and parking are extra costs, but they're not insane. Plenty of room and storage space, great rooms, and really no issues except for slow maintenance response times.

Good place for the situation
Considering i’m a student in a college town, this is a nice apartment to live in. Barely off campus and relatively quiet. I also like that it was grad student only living. Price relative to others in the area is reasonable.

Overlook Review
I enjoyed my stay mostly. I live in the outer side of the overlook so basically the noise from the Road outside is very annoying. The walls are thin. I can hear people live above walking all the time.

Thin walls but other than that fine

Responsive enough
Amenities are fine. Apartment was clean and nice enough. Staff is moderately helpful and responds to emails within a couple of days. Price is high for South Bend -- I'm paying considerably more than I paid in Chicago. The bed was rock hard and requires a thick mattress pad. Garbage pickup ranges from 4:30-7am depending on the day and is LOUD. Blinds don't keep light out -- blackout curtains are critical.
