Great place to live
I've lived here with my partner and two dogs for several years and we love it. Everyone is friendly and the amenities are great. Apartments are clean and newly built, and management is responsive. The location of the complex is near a lot of grocery stores/restaurants/etc. Our dogs love the park and the annual puppy plunge.

Great
Very clean and very nice apartment complex overall. Filled with a lot of Netter students so it feels similar to a college environment with everyone living in dorms since we see our friends here so frequently. The management is great and extremely responsive to all complaints or problems.

Great facilities & lovely management!
As a medical student, there is a lot to worry about, and living at Canal Crossing does not add to that list. The facilities are lovely, the maintenance is attentive when needed, etc. With that being said, you do get what you pay for.

Canal Crossing
Super safe property and convenient distance from both Netter campus and New Haven. The interior is modern and updated and the grounds are well kept.

Canal Crossing - Affordable Housing
Love my apt but I am also in the affordable housing program and my rent is $1524.00.

Ive lived here for 4 years and its still the best option around
This is a great place to live.
Ask for the student discount- as it helps with the rent cost. (they don't always have the student discount housing available but if it is its cheaper).
Ive lived here for 4 years and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else.
Lots of students from QU live here. The pool is great, its dog friendly, 10 minutes away from school. A middle ground for travel either upstate or downstate.
The leasing office is great! Donna is amazing, very helpful and informative.
Take a tour and you will see!
The maintenance men are also top notch, they help with everything. I had a complaint about the alge growing on my balcony, they sent a email out a few weeks later and sprayed all the buildings down.
Management is great.

Worth the cost
Excellent place to live. Quite close to school and reasonably close to east rock/new haven (don't need to get on highway). Many netter students. Great management. Gym is a bit barebones but nonetheless excellent living community.

Ive lived here for 3 years and its still the best option around
The management is great, lots of medical students live nearby so that is also a plus! The pool and gym are a good size! The place is very pet-friendly. Every once in a while they host events and even have food trucks parked in the area.
It is a very friendly place and is definitely my home away from home.

Safe and Accessible
CCX are a set of newer apartments in the Hamden right near the entry to Route 15 (Merritt Parkway) so it's a 15 minute drive to campus. There's a clubhouse with an office, kitchen/lounge, and gym as well as pool. Maintenance is top notch and cleaning services keep the hallways and lobbies looking great. The 2 cons are that you have to drive 10-15 mins to go out to dinner either in New Haven or Wallingford and sometimes delivery services deliver packages to the wrong buildings (this only happened once for me, but I've received a few emails from management that they are working on this issue with the respective services). Other than that, we love living here and would continue doing so if we did not have to move for residency.
