Good but expensive
Luxury apartments are very expensive but worth it if you can afford it. No stress of a roommate. This complex is very responsive to feedback

Great Apt with slacking leasing office
New apt (relatively, I believe that it opens in 2016), clean, but the leasing office staff could be a real headache in terms of efficiency.

Good area
Right next to metro, mall, Costco, whole foods. Expensive, though.

Love the Acadia
I love my apartment which was brand new when I moved in. The rent is very high. In some ways the rent is justified because the property and management are great; but in other ways the price is too high in that it does not include guest parking passes, any utilities, there is constant construction, and constant traffic from the Costco shopping area.

New, clean, close to metro
This place is new and clean and right next to the Pentagon City metro station, which is 4 stops from GWU. It has very nice finishes and great amenities. For those reasons, it's one of the more expensive places in Pentagon City. But because it's in Virginia, it's cheaper than smaller, older places in DC.

Nice place!
Don't have anything bad to say about it. Moved in a few months ago and the building has been great since. Our last place was awful, so it's definitely an upgrade. Little more expensive than other buildings, but well worth it, in my opinion. Free Starbucks in the lobby too!

Great place to live
This is a great apartment building. I've lived here since it opened in the summer and couldn't be happier. The staff is nice, the facilities are nice, and the price is reasonable. Location is great too. Their is a Champps nearby! My favorite restaurant :)

Great place to live!
Big fan. New building, nice interior. Community is great too. The building opened up last summer (2015). It's filled up quickly and there is another new one being built next door. Also a Whole Foods opening up next door and a yoga studio/starbucks opening up below.

Great!
Brand new apts. Only thing that sucks so far is the heating/air system is really loud when turning on and off and the pool and top floor aren't ready yet. Not sure when construction will be finished. We're playing for these amenities so it'd be great to have them.

Pentagon City Reviews
For the metro, the ride itself is about 20 min. I just budget in extra time for walking and not wanting to arrive just on time. It shouldn't take 45 minutes to get to school unless they're doing maintenance. Then, add 10 minutes.
There is not a lot of green space, unless you count Long Bridge "Park", which is a dead-end, cement "bridge" that looks over soccer and baseball fields with some views of D.C.
Pros:
-Very metro-accessible (blue/yellow, so can get into the city in multiple directions if there are delays)
-Walkable - easy to get to grocery store, Pentagon City mall, library, restaurants, etc. within minutes
-Quiet and safe, and generally well-lit in the evenings
Cons:
-I'd like to see a few more restaurant options. There are good casual dining options, like Naked Pizza, California Pizza Kitchen, and the mall food court, but besides Bonefish Grill there's not much a step up from that.
-I don't feel much sense of community, and don't know my neighbors. Not as diverse-seeming as other parts of DC.
