Sooooo many issues

What can I say. Potholes everywhere, the gate works 50/50 of the time, the printing room was out for most of last year and this semester, the mailroom is a mess and could work vs not work depending on the day, the apartments have bugs, maintenance is slow, the apartments are falling apart, they forced me to move when I renewed for my specific apartment, etc.

College Community Living

The scenery is beautiful! They have a resort style club house/pool/outdoor rec. There is a 2 story gym, study rooms, gaming rooms with arcade-style games and pool/foosball. There is a large living area upstairs with a big TV. They have Starbucks drink machine that is free! As well as an assortment of hot tea and cocoa.
The little cottages are cute and spacious. Furniture is provided, except TV. The rooms don't have fans, but you do have your own AC controller on the wall. Its literally a little neighborhood full of your own peers. I see lots of pets going on walks, people jogging around the sidewalk.
Across from us and next to us are other large apartment complexes. Lots of students in this area. There are two Tiger busses that pass here. Down the road, you have grocery store, gas stations, plenty of food places, car wash, urgent care, ect. Every now and then, the management office hosts some sort of event. They often give away free food.

My only complaint is the potholes!!!

Pretty great

Very quick maintenance, pet friendly, spacious and clean houses. However, you are not guaranteed the roommates you request and you may be placed randomly.

Nice complex and cheap rent, but that's it

It is very much a student housing complex, so it is loud on the weekends with lots of partiers, my room mates and I may be the only grad students in the entire complex. We've had a lot of crappy things happen - maggot and roach infestations (the maggots came in from a neglected community trash bin outside), maintenance unlocking the door and coming in without knocking to do maintenance we never requested, faulty appliances, very incompetent staff who make picking up your packages a hassle. Management dealt with issues when we complained, but did so very unenthusiastically and begrudgingly. If you have an empty bedroom in your apartment they might match you to a totally random fit room mate, they tried to give us a room mate who had a cat despite me having a dog who doesn't get along with cats.

Anyway, the grounds are very beautiful, the other residents are friendly, and it is a nice place to have a dog. Rent is very cheap which is appealing, but it's because the appliances and everything are so old

Overall Enjoyable

The lodges in general is a very nice place. The workers are always friendly, the neighborhood is safe and beautiful with ponds to take walks around. On a good day you are 10 minutes from campus, and on the absolute worst 8/5 o'clock traffic it's more like 18 minutes.

The only problems I have are the neighbors like to loud parties every weekend.

The heating/cooling system in the 5 bedroom is interconnected, so we have to coordinate or someone is freezing or burning to death.

These are my only complaints though and I would definitely live here again.
