Hannah Lofts Review
I would highly recommend it here. It is very safe, close to campus, and has lots of amenities like study rooms and a gym. The only downsides I have experienced thus far is that it is VERY expensive and that the train is extremely loud. It can keep you up at night.

Hannah Lofts Studio Review
I am going on my second year living in a studio at Hannah Lofts & Townhomes. My main reason for choosing to live here was because of how close it is to the medical school buildings. Personally, I was interested in finding an apartment that was walkable. On that note, because this is close to the south side of campus, it is also fairly expensive.
The studio is very spacious! It has a very large living/bedroom space, a nice kitchen, large bathroom, walk-in closet, and IN-UNIT washer/dryer. Maintenance has always been very prompt and responsive when I have had problems (both of which were very minor- a burnt-out lightbulb and some broken blinds). The units themselves are fairly new so I have not had many problems with the building itself in terms of maintenance.
Management, on the other hand... is not always very helpful. The apartment has security cameras on every corner and in multiple hallways... but I'm not sure what they're for. I had a package stolen from the front of my door (I had proof because Amazon sends you a picture when they've delivered it) and Hannah Lofts told me they would check the cameras. I followed up multiple times with them about the cameras- one time their tech guy was "unavailable", then they were still putting it off, then they said they didn't see anything on the camera (I doubt they looked at them in the first place).
They find any and every possible way to get more money out of you. They take great pride in their amenities. The gym is worth it, has nice equipment, and it is rarely busy. But, the equipment and machines are pretty basic, so depending on what you're looking for, it might not be enough for your gym needs.
In terms of noise, I have never had problems with hearing my neighbors through the walls other than if they are slamming closed cabinets or something every once in a while. BUT, I have had to make noise complaints about people in the townhomes before (which are usually just below the studios). Being that there are a lot of undergrads that live in the complex, they sometimes have no regard for people who need to be asleep at a reasonable hour on weeknights. I do appreciate that Hannah Lofts has an on-call staff number where you can make a noise complaint and they will get someone out to address the complaint.
For a few good things to end off the review: the complex does hold a lot of events with free food/drinks for residents, gift card giveaways, and other engaging events if you choose to participate. The apartment has a private bus shuttle that runs to a few main spots around campus which is available for residents to use for free.

Overall good experience
Hannah Lofts is located very close to campus so the price is a little high for what you're getting, but you're paying for location as well. My rent is 1250 because I have covered parking and furnishing add-ons, but the base price is closer to 1100-1150. I enjoy that the management office is right downstairs so if you need anything you can just go talk to them. My floor is extremely quiet and I will only sometimes hear noise from the parking lot so it's been very peaceful. Maintenance is extremely responsive to complaints and will be there to fix things the same day you put in a work order.
My only complaint is that the elevator is frequently broken (more than once a month) so this really needs to be resolved. The treadmills in the gym have also been broken for a bit.

Hannah Lofts Studio Review
I appreciate the location of this apartment complex in that I can walk to the medical buildings and save money by not buying a parking pass. It is also nice that Hannah Lofts has a bussing system to campus for their residents.
A challenge with the studios is that there is a fake exhaust hood above the oven so any time you cook, your whole apartment smells of your food. Other than that, the unit is very spacious and has good natural light from the two windows.
A note about the security of the unit: I wish there was a physical key or a way to secure the doors of units better. I do not feel very safe knowing that my door is operated by an electronic lock that maintenance, the wifi staff, and admin have access to.

Administration
Honestly the administrative is pretty responsive as long as you reach out. If it is in your budget you will probably enjoy it.

Expensive but might be worth it if planning on only being in EL for 2 years (confirmed placement elsewhere for LCE)
Hannah is so close to CHM, making it extremely convenient and nice to be close to school and only a 12 minute drive from Sparrow. Facilities are very nice, well kept. One of the few options with parking structure around this area which is game changing in the snow. Overall love besides the price which could be less if rooming with others in a 2 or 4 bedroom

It’s decent
Not enough parking, hot tub is usually broken, they raise rent every year, WiFi can be unpredictable, takes forever to get service requests done. But it’s close to the med school and you get your own bathroom
And walk in closet. Rooms are big too

Overpriced and loud
The worst place I have ever lived. It’s So loud at night. Management never answers calls and everything is always broken.
