the apartment is in a great location!
The location of the apartment is promising and for the price of the apartment it's a good deal. The building it older, but it's easy to make it feel like a home. 10/10. Water is included but you'll have to pay for wifi and power separately which should run you somewhere between $110-200. Heat is not included either, so if you want heat in the winter you'll have to foot that bill also.

Love this Place
The Americana is super affordable and spacious. The office manager who works here is super friendly and the tenants mostly keep to themselves. It is located right next to Division Street so you can hear music most nights.

Apartment Review
My experience at the apartment has been pretty good. The management is very responsive, friendly, and helpful. The only problem that I have experienced has been the noise as there is construction going on right outside the apartment, although that is almost done. The bars behind it also produce a lot of noise, especially on the weekends.

America Apartments: Pretty Good
Very good overall. Nice 5 minute walk from campus. Friendly, flexible manager. Functional, spacious apartment. Good condition. Good pest control (much better than my previous place). Pets allowed, and many people have them. There's a pool on the roof.
Only serious downside is noise. Being on music row, concerts and bar music is loud at night, and construction noise begins early in the morning on weekdays. Earplugs are very helpful.
All in all I plan on living here as long as I am in Nashville.

Cheapest place walking distance, decent for the cost
This apartment is very close to Vanderbilt's campus and also to many restaurants and bars. It's fairly close to 12 South, downtown, and Centennial Park as well. Because of its location right in midtown, the bars can get quite loud at night, but it is still manageable. The building itself is somewhat old and we did have an issue with pests upon moving in but since then things have been generally good. I've stayed here for 4 years while in graduate school.
