Overall great value
In-law suite, nearly-fully furnished. Included in-unit washer and dryer, but the dryer has a leaking duct. Kitchen includes toaster-oven, low-power microwave, mini sink, refrigerator, no stove top.
Small floor plan, but fine for single occupant. No carpet, gets cold easily. Every now and then, I hear something crawling in the walls, but have never encountered anything larger than a cockroach. Floorboards are not connected with the floor in a lot of places.
Friendly neighbors, no crime, partying is uncommon.
Bus stop is about a 12 minute walk from the house.
Landlord is very understanding and not too stringent.
AC/heat can only be controlled in the main portion of the house, but landlord always willing to adjust temperature when I text her.
I have never had an issue with the water, even during power outages.
