Overrated Management Company
The issue with the apartment stems from the management company. They made promises that they ended up not keeping related to referrals, fixing issues in the apartment, etc. In addition, the internet constantly goes down, the elevators break, and there is no apology from management, just finger pointing.

Great social building for Kellogg Students
E2 is the most social building for Kellogg students. The building is brand new. There is a rooftop pool, a basketball court, a gym, and a small theater. The building has occasional issues with Internet connectivity, but overall it is a fun building to live in.

Working through its growing pains
Absolutely love living in E2, mainly because majority of my classmates live here. The management is extremely nice and responsive and the amenities floor is amazing, though the gym is nothing to write home about. The outdoor amenities (pool, grill, etc.) are incredible, but not very useful for the majority of the school year. It's great to be able to have group/team meetings on the fourth floor and use the party room for events.
However, E2 was built extremely quickly and is still working through a lot of growing pains. They chose the lowest cost internet and cable providers, so the internet has had major issues this past year, which causes a lot of problems for 100+ business school students! The elevators have also had issues and in the beginning of the school year there were some power outages. The Kellogg community at E2 has been very vocal with the management and I think many of these problems will be solved over time, but if you're not the type to be patient with things like this, I recommend choosing some of the more established buildings.

Super social building
I love living at E2. Brand new building with great amenities. Tons of Kellogg students live here making it a great place for parties.

Great place, poor management
The building is beautiful, large, and has amazing amenities. It's close to campus and full of Kellogg students. Management leaves a lot to be desired - the internet goes down a lot, the elevators break, the water pressure is weak, and it's slightly overpriced. But it's still worth it for being so close to campus and living with so many Kellogg classmates with lots of social areas.

Great place, but management needs to improve
We moved into E2 primarily because it was brand new and we really liked the 3 bedroom floorplan. Overall, we've been happy with the decision. The building is really social and the apartments are spacious and great for hosting. That said, the building has its issues -- primarily terrible internet providers and frequent elevator outages. Both of these are really basic neccessities in a high end building. Management seems to be trying, but things haven't improved as quickly as I'd hope.

Newest building in town
I moved here between years 1 & 2 from an older building. The management company definitely tries hard, and the rent is affordable with roommates. It gets a little expensive to live solo in Evanston. Definitely turning into a Kellogg / undergrad frat house with the number of folks living here.

The Newest Hotspot
Given that it is brand new, E2 was a very popular choice this year. It is a lot of fun living in a building with so many fellow classmates--and will likely become even more so as temperatures begin to drop. The building itself offers a lot of amenities, some of which are more useful than others. Apartments are quite spacious and the leasing process is very seamless.

Modern apartment with great amenities, near all of your friends
Hands down the best part about living in E2 is the fact that this building is run by Kellogg students. Amenities on the 4th floor are great: BBQs, epic pool parties, basketball court, gym (which is OK, kind of small, but you've got Exhale Spa downstairs for fitness classes/barre if you're into that), and study rooms. You'll end up doing lots of group assignments here based on the simple fact that a lot of people live here.
In terms of aesthetics, the apartments at E2 are modern and were brand new as of last year. They boast dark brown hardwood floors, gray/white walls, and sleek cabinets. Some of the units have spectacular views with big windows, providing lots of natural daylight. The kitchen appliances all work great and there is an in-unit washer dryer. Although the apartment looks very nice at first glance, the "hardwood" floors are rather cheap and scratch easily. Overall, the apartments are small for the value, but nice.
We had a lot of issues with the internet over the first 6 months of living here. Plus, Direct TV is AWFUL. Management seems to be taking a while to get the hang of things, but they are all incredible nice - especially the doormen/woman. They also often host lots of events with local businesses in the building, for example, restaurant samples, massage classes, and fitness classes.
E2 does not allow a 2 year lease, but we will probably stay as we are enjoying it so far!

Cons: Long walk from the Global hub. Closest grocery store is Whole Foods, a bit of a hike to TJ's and Jewel.
