Great amenities and experience

Pretty great experience! The management is quite responsive to getting things fixed. Though it is on the slightly pricey end of rent, there are lots of amenities (including a nice gym, swimming pool, lounge area, TV room). The apartments themselves are quite spacious and the neighborhood is quiet, but reasonably close to campus.

Pretty good for the price

the property is great and on a quiet street and right near Centennial park.
Would be great for dog owner because it is a block from centennial dog park. My only complaints are that it smells a little like dogs. It is about a 5-10 minute drive to campus, would take like 25-30 to walk. It is also residential so there is no resturants or bars super close.

Nice building. Has a gym, plenty of parking and a pool. Located next to centennial park. About 1.2 miles from campus

Good value

I live very close to Centennial Park and its dog park, which I love. I live in the B building, which is quiet and peaceful. The building is secure and clean. There is valet trash pickup. Package delivery is secure. Maintenance requests are completed quickly. Storage includes walk-in closets, linen closets, pantry space, and plenty of kitchen cabinets. My apartment did not have ceiling fans or light fixtures, so I had to buy bright lamps for each room to plug into outlets that are connected to the light switch. Construction has recently started across Long Blvd, which noise does affect some apartments during the day. I love that it is very close to the 440, West End, and Vanderbilt's campus. It takes me 5 mins to drive to the medical campus, and it takes 8 minutes to get to a grocery store. They do monthly social events in the lobby. Pool is subpar.

West End Village

West End Village is a great location! It’s always kept clean and it has great amenities. Being 8 minutes from school and convenient access to the highway is so nice.

WEV

Overall, West End Village is a great appartment. The common areas and pool are nice, clean, and quiet. The individual apartments are spacious and well updated, especially for the price and location (~30 minute walk from Vanderbilt School of Nursing and right next to Centennial Park). The biggest complaint I have is the noise coming from my upstairs and next door neighbors. The walls/ceiling seems to be very thin and I can hear almost everything.

West End Village

This apartment complex is located fairly close to Vanderbilt, but is still about a 30 minute walk from VUSN. The apartments are very spacious and were clean upon move in. However, we have had somewhat of a pest problem here and the management is not the best at communicating, nor are they very amicable. The pool is in the middle of the complex, so is at least partially or fully in the shade all day. The best thing about this apartment complex is its available parking and security.

Getting around Midtown

Midtown Reviews

I am on the border of Midtown and Music Row so it feels very safe here, there is not tons of traffic which is nice when walking around and even driving whenever I get out in my car, and there is plenty to do with a bunch of restaurants and bars. There is even an outdoor concert every Monday at one of the bars across the street, so I can open my windows and just listen to live music when doing homework - I love it!
very fun atmosphere. Central to everything and lots of restaurants and shopping near by and very close to school. about a 5 minute drive
Everything is a short drive away (15 minutes or less). There are grocery stores, restaurants and bars in the areas so you aren’t missing out on the social experience. This is a more residential corner of the midtown area so you don’t hear traffic/ambulance noise even though there are freeways and hospitals nearby. Close to Centennial Park and Percy Warner Trails so if you enjoy the outdoors this is a nice area to be in.
Midtown is great if you want to live close to campus. Vibrant bar/restaurant scene and short walk to campus. Said "yes" to all the additional questions around safety, family/pet friendly, etc. but you also have to realize it's very much a party area. Division is very popular and as a result, you always have to watch your surroundings and be aware at all times.
Midtown is situated just next to Vanderbilt with tons of fun bars and restaurants
Lots of bars and food places, easy to walk around, safe, vibrant.
Restaurants nearby, quiet, close to gym. I really like it.
Very close to campus and plenty things around to do
