Fine

It's fine. Management is not very good (very corporate, selfish, not very responsive). The unit is large and I have a dishwasher and washer/dryer, which is great. I have had no issues with neighbors. My view, however, is of the parking garage, and I don't feel super safe coming home late at night. The downstairs lobby/hangout area is lame, and the whole building has zero charm. There is an outdoors area but it is open to the public and doesn't feel very safe. That being said, I am right by the bus, which is amazing when I am running late in the morning (which is usually every morning).

Floor-to-Ceiling Windows: A Clean, Loft Interior

Cayuga Place was my home for my entire MBA journey. I loved the unfurnished apartment, which gave me the freedom to decorate to my taste. The bathroom was spacious with a bathtub, and the kitchen was large enough for even a one-bedroom/semi-studio apartment. The in-unit laundry was also a huge convenience. The management team was responsive and helpful, and I loved that the main bus stop was right outside my door. This made it easy to get to school and supermarkets. I find my neighbors to be respectful and considerate. I've never heard any loud parties or disturbances

1x1 Apartment

The apartment building is perfectly located in front of a bus station that most bus lines stop by. So you don't have to worry about missing or not finding a bus that goes to Cornell. It is also a few steps away from the commons and a 20-minute walk to Wegmans.

The building is also pretty quiet (no parties or loud noises) and there are quiet hours from 10pm - 8am every day.

The management is great, super helpful, and understanding. Maintenance requests are quickly resolved.

The Best Value Imaginable

Cayuga Place is a wonderful place to live. The common areas are clean, the staff is friendly, and they have brand-new gym equipment available for use. The rooms are spacious with beautiful floor-to-ceiling windows. For the price we paid, it is impossible to imagine getting a bigger apartment. The building staff is responsive and helpful, with all of our maintenance requests being managed next-day if not same-day.
One of the underrated aspects of living at Cayuga Place is that the Route 30 bus stops right in front of the building. You live at the bus stop that will take you anywhere you need to go on campus - no more hiking up the hill, or even hiking up to the bus stop.
The air conditioning and heating system works like a dream, and the in-unit washer/dryer is new and works really well. The kitchen is roomy and provides room for plenty of food prep and dining space.
The only downside is the location - there was a murder behind the building this semester, and the area can feel a little sketchy. This, combined with the fact that you cannot park directly at the building, is a negative. But no residents have ever had a problem that I've heard of, and ultimately it's not any less safe than any other place in the City of Ithaca.

Not bad

Decent apartment, reasonably priced for a single person. The appliances are decent but somewhat lower quality. The elevator is the slowest on earth. You can't use your own wifi router.

Convenient and responsive management company

Enjoy living in this space, lots of space with floor to ceiling windows in the living room. Heating/AC is a little weird and doesn't fully heat/cool all the rooms at the same rate (for example, my room is usually cold while my roommates will be very warm with the heat on). Convenient because it's right by the bus stop and the Commons.

No frills but fine

The apartment complex is a little dated, but apartments are roomy and for the most part quiet. Sound travels through the ceilings/floors but not through walls for the most part. The new apartment management is responsive.
