Best place for family
Large playground (I mean, really large) with many kids arounds. Even though I live here with my spouse (no kids), I still love this place. Many activities that you can join, such as blueberry picking, pumpkin carving/paiting, acrylic paiting, gardening (yes, you can register to have a small garden in the community garden to grow tomato).
The downside could be that it's too quite. If you want to live close to downtown, go to pub/club every weekend, have dinner at a restaurant, this is not a right place for you.

Perfect for family
The room is furnished with 1 living room, 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom and 1 kitchen. It is perfect for family, especially those with children, because there're lots of activities for residents here (both for adults and kids). The one I love most is blueberry picking event every year in August. Also, there're spacious playground for every department, making it a great place for kids

Pros and Cons
Excellent!
Pros:
+ no need to pay/sublease when you are on internship during summer
+ great price
+ nice location
+ best neighbors and community
+ furnished apartments
+ safe
+ staff responsive to maintenance requests
Cons:
- no A/C so I bought a fan but it doesn't really help cool down the apt in summer when you have guests coming over
- my bike got stolen at night because I forgot to lock it. Other than that it's very safe
- few buses running around making the schedule unreliable
- no small grocery stores nearby, bus ride to nearest target is 10 minutes

Well-priced
Older building, but well priced. Also school is very responsive to repairs. Decent pricing considering water, heat, electric, internet are all included. Studio is decently sized. Spiders common.

Great community service, family friendly
I live in Hasbrouck Apartments with my wife. We rent a full two-bedroom apartment. We really love its location. Buses are frequent during the rush hours, and it is close to the North Campus buildings. The supermarket is also quite close by bus. The community center offers a wide range of programs for adults and for children as well. The rent is affordable, and it includes all utilities. If you are looking for an affordable apartment with good location and nice community services, then it is highly recommended for you!

Blissful
The property is quiet and serene. It helps to have a car since it’s a bit far from campus. This is campus housing for graduate students. The walls are very thick.
