Blissful
The property is quiet and serene. It helps to have a car since it’s a bit far from campus. This is campus housing for graduate students. The walls are very thick.

Hasbrouck: Pros and Cons
Pro: Rent inexpensive+ utilities such as heat, water ,wifi included.
Also quick repairs, and nice laundry facility. Bus picks up at Hasbrouck
Cons: Farther from law school=near North campus (but bus picks up every 10 minutes or so and takes you by the law school), lots of children in Hasbrouck so can get noisy when they play outside.

Excellent place for families with children
The community at Hasbrouck is great for families with children. There are well-maintained playgrounds and many kids so that your children can spend time with other kids at the playgrounds. There are also many activities for children organized by Hasbrouck.

Great price point and close convenient location
I live here with my family of 3. It's a great price point for the space I got. The unit is bit close to the neighbors but not unbearable.

Grad Student Living With Partner
Experience has overall been fine. The most annoying aspects are probably the distance to downtown/class/groceries and the fact that there are children leaving their toys everywhere and can be quite loud when they are playing on the various playgrounds. Especially during the pandemic, the noise from children often interrupts class, meetings, and studying. The apartment itself is fine, very well-insulated in terms of heating, and the price is great.

Great place for couples or families
My experience at the apartment has been great, it is very spacious for the price. The 2 bedrooms are a great deal for couples or families and are barely any more expensive than the 1 bedrooms (which my fiancee used to have). Site parking is also available for an additional reasonable fee. My two biggest complaints are that air conditioning is only available seasonally and you have to purchase your own window unit which they install (and then uninstall in late October, and re-install in March). The building heat though is very good and free.

Very Good Place for Family
Hasbrouck Apartment is very good apt. for kids because here is very safe, there are a lot of parks on a premise. Also, there are many residents who have children, so you can make friends easily. Moreover, while rent is very cheap, rooms are spacious. Many events are held.
On the other hand, I heard that the condition of some room are bad. For example, it's so cold in some rooms in winter. In addition, the location is not so good. Although the apt. has bus station, there are few buses that directly get to law school from the apt. Furthermore, there are few shops nearby.
