Great to live at!
Living at Crowne Polo has been a great experience. The office management is nice and accommodating. The maintenance workers also are friendly and fulfill requests in a timely manner. Crowne Polo is a great place for students to live in as it is 5 minutes away from campus, and also a great place for working adults as well. I highly recommend it.

Great place to live
Overall, Crowne polo is a very nice area. It’s quiet, but also very close to everywhere I need to go. I’m a 5 minute drive from campus, there are 4 grocery stores within a 3 minute drive from me, and I’m 10 minutes from downtown. I also feel like the community is quite similar to me (younger age, many grad students, law specifically). The inside of my apartment is great, especially for the price. It feels very “homey”. I will say, there have been a few issues with my apartment since move in (broken outlets, sloppy craftsmanship in some areas, etc.) but the front desk and maintenance are extremely helpful with solving these issues for me! Plus, there are frequently fun events going on in the clubhouse.

Overall great
The only thing I'd change about Crowne Polo is the entrance. To enter, you have to be traveling north on Silas Creek Pkwy. Otherwise, you need to go 0.5 miles south on Silas Creek, take a U-turn, and then go 0.5 miles north to enter.

Perfect for law student with pets
It's quiet and calm, the neighbors and management are friendly. Management is extremely responsive. Every time we make a maintenance request they're extremely prompt. Parking is easy. It's clean. Definitely great value for the price. Appliances all fairly new and work well. Gym is small but has everything you need in a pinch. It's really nice to have a dog park so close by but it is a woodchip park (no grass) so it can get kind of gross, but it's fine. On the Wake line for those without cars. 5 mins or less from at least 3 grocery stores. Location not good for those who want to be super close to the downtown scene (we're about a 10-13m drive) -- but we're 5 mins from Reynolda and Bethabara so it's a good fit for those who like to be outdoors.

Crowne Polo is the place to be!
I live by myself in a one-bedroom, and I absolutely love it! I only needed maintenance one time at the time of move-in, and they responded, came to the apartment, and fixed the issue within 3 hours. I have had no issues since then. The apartment is very comfortable and spacious (big bathroom and walk-in closet). I have enough space to invite friends over and host events. I also like how there’s a lot of available parking outside. The staff at Crowne Polo is friendly, and they host little events and have gift card giveaways. You get access to the pool + small gym.

Quiet and private
Living at Crowne Polo is nice because of how quiet it is. It is surrounded by trees which provides a great buffer between the apartment and the road. It is also gated which provides me with a higher level of comfort. It has been nice to live at as a dog owner because there is ample grass and green space for him to use. It is also nice to be able to walk to class. However, my apartment was quite dirty when I moved in, and there is ample dirt actually painted into things like the baseboards. I have also had several maintenance issues.
