Great Place for Students
I've really enjoyed being at Crowne Polo during law school. It's close to campus and mostly other graduate students.

Not Great, Not Terrible
I think my experience has been a little atypical. Because of COVID and issues with social distancing in on-campus housing, there are a lot of undergrads living here, which doesn't usually happen. As you might imagine, they are LOUD and have parties on weeknights, and that is far from an ideal environment for law students. There have been issues with car break-ins as well. There are police cars here more often than you would expect. The management tends to not be very accessible.
Positives: Lots of space for what you're paying, easy parking, big closets, big bathrooms, nice pool, convenient location

Polo 1 Bedroom
Nice apartment and place to live, but they've really gone up on their prices in the last 2 years. Not sure it's worth the price anymore.

Crowne Polo
I think Crowne polo needs to add more lighting in the back of the complex since they have had multiple car breakins over the last three years, but otherwise I have no complaints!

Crowne Polo Review
Crowne Polo for the most part is good. The only really good amenity is the pool which will be filled with law students, and now undergraduate students, on nice days during the early fall/late spring part of the semester. Although this amenity has basically ceased to exist thanks to COVID. I find the apartment to be far more expensive than it really should be for what you get. The upside is that a lot of other law students live in polo, you can walk to school if you want, and there are grocery stores/gas stations very close by. Downside is that its far from bars and restaurants downtown and you'll have to uber/lyft back and forth. Again, thats not a bad thing at all usually but with COVID and the lack of ubers/lyfts getting downtown for fun is not nearly as feasible. Also, in terms of crime, it seems like every semester a bunch of peoples' cars get broken in to or stolen, seems like polo never really cares to do anything about it since it continues to be a problem literally every semester.

Please do not rent from Crowne Polo
Crowne Polo used to be a relatively quiet apartment complex with affordable rent and decent housing. It was almost entirely graduate students, with the exception of a few young professionals and young families. Now, it is full of undergraduate students who are completely unsupervised. They have turned Crowne Polo into a loud, disrespectful complex full of drunk teenagers who will puke off of their balcony and onto yours. Save yourself the headache and rent at Crowne Park or literally anywhere else.

Great Apartment Close to WFU Campus
Crowne Polo is a great apartment complex to live in that is close to campus. I have met other grad students through my apartment complex and made some great friends!

We love Crowne Polo!
Crowne Polo is quiet, close to campus, and has great amenities while also being affordable. My roommates and I have a spacious apartment with a large living room, big windows, and nice appliances (though washer and dryer are NOT included). One of the best parts about Crowne Polo is how close it is to campus - it is about a 5 minute drive to campus, but most of the time we end up walking (~20 minute walk to Wingate) or taking the shuttle (comes every hour and gets you to campus in 15 minutes). Definitely recommend living here.
