The Flats at The Exchange on Erwin Review
Overall good, management doesn't really do anything with consistently noisy neighbors despite multiple complaints. Besides that, they're pretty responsive.

Great Apartment Complex
Very professional and attentive. The apartment itself is great!

Love this apartment & its clean feel/'nature' views - just thin walls
My experience has been great! The apartment is spacious - especially the closet, which I LOVE, and the kitchen storage. The balcony is really nice, I love looking over the trees and pathway that makes me feel more like I'm in nature than I might feel in a different unit or neighboring complex that looks over a parking lot or street. The sunlight is pretty good for being in an apartment. I appreciate being able to park on the same level as my apartment. The pool is nice and though I haven't used the gym here or the study rooms etc. yet they are nice as well. And the management and especially the maintenance is WONDERFUL! They're really responsive and kind. I love living here. With all that said, there is one main drawback - the walls are pretty thin, to the point that I can hear my neighbors' conversations to a point, and the noise of my upstairs neighbors walking around can be pretty loud. But with the niceness of the actual apartment and the proximity to Duke and to highways taking you to downtown Durham or nearby amenities in less than 10 minutes, I'm happy I chose here over the other options.

Great Apartments!
The property management is great and responsive to any issues. The apartments are quite new, so everything is in great condition (e.g appliances are modern). Really close to a plaza with restaurants like chipotle, which is very convenient. Many other MQM students were living in this complex.

Best Apartment for MQM Students
The flats not only is nice, clean, and easy to deal with, it’s also only a 20 min walk to the Fuqua building. The gym is small but nice and they have really good wipes/ other rules in place for Covid. The study rooms in the lobby are a great place to study away from your apartment if you want a change of scenery. They also have the coffee bar room with TV’s and various seating areas where you can hang out with friends. The entire building feels very safe and because it’s a cross the street from campus it’s easy to go for runs or walks around campus. The flats are also located close to a grocery store and only a 12 min drive to target. I would personally suggest living in the main building because it’s easier to utilize the amenities, but the other buildings are a very close walk away. There seems to be quite a few of MQM students living here which makes it easy to catch rides to class if you don’t have a car or meet up with other students to study. Overall I wouldn’t want to live anywhere else while going to school at Fuqua.

The Flats are great (slightly overpriced) but great Overral
It's fantastic here, the apartment is great, residents are respectful, the front desk is very responsive and the trash upkeep and building "fix-it" requests are always met. My apartment has a fantastic view and great central AC. The gym is nice but not Crazy. The only qualm is that the pool gets very little sunlight. ALSO, the residence is very very close to E-quad.

Amazing experience
It’s a decent apartment. It’s very new and was built last year. All kinds of facilities are nice: gym, lounge, coffee machine and pool. The apartment has a good security system. The leasing team is really nice and helpful. Overall I would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone!

Noisy community, new
Pros: The property is new, and managing team is nice.
Cons: Noise problems. People are sticking to their parties till 3, 4 am I’m the morning. Some of your neighbors just don’t bother to maintain a good environment for the community at all, and the manage team could not handle the noise complaints. It is common to be wakened 3 am in the morning by the party noises, and it is not possible to stay at home in weekends because of the party noises.
