Would Highly Recommend The Flats
Expensive (but not more so than other buildings in the surrounding area), but very well managed/the people who work there are incredibly nice and responsive, lots of closet space, pet friendly, huge gym, floor-to-ceiling windows. Kitchen appliances are all new.

Very comfortable
The Flats is a great place for anyone in their 20s to live, expensive but near to amazing restaurants and bars, public transportation, and in a really great neighborhood. You have the Trader Joes and Soul Cycle nearby, in addition to amenities included.

Wonderful day-to-day staff, awful ex
Pros: Maintenance requests are met quickly and the handy man, Ed, is a lovely human. The front desk staff are always friendly and quick to give you a smile and chat when you come home every day. Neighbors are respectful and it's a quiet environment. In the summer the courtyard fills up pretty quickly however people are friendly and, again, respect one another's space.
Cons: Bottom line is that it's overpriced. For the amount of money we paid it was insane that there was: no central air, no laundry in unit (have to pay for laundry in basement), cheap floors, no central lighting in bedrooms or living room. The in unit heating/cooling unit was one of those loud clunky monstrosities you typically see in hotels. My biggest issue was that the street facing units (aka my unit) were awakened to the sounds of construction at 5 AM every day because of the development next door. The neighborhood has not friendly, residential feel and I do not recommend it for people who value peace and quiet in the city.
Bottom line: the location is great but you could pay the same amount of money and live in the same neighborhood for an experience ten times better than the flats offer.

Good Sunlight & Friendly Staff
I have really enjoyed living at the Flats at Dupont. The amenities are quite good, parking is available (though for a market price fee) and most of all, great location and I feel safe. The only complaint I have is the cost, but DC in this area is just plain expensive, so it's not really the fault of the building.

Solid place to live
Great location, reasonable prices, and excellent community amenities. Rent is pretty high, however, and we frequently hear construction noise as well.

Great!
Love my apartment building. Would stay forever if it wasn't so expensive. The rent would be worth it if interior was updated...my hallways currently look like an old hotel. The concierges and management are fabulous, and facilities requests are properly attended to.
