I have loved living at The Flats. I have always felt very safe, and the location is great. Management is superb, and I love that utilities are included in the rent. Great workout room, but lacking in the outdoor amenities. There is a pool, but not much of one.

I really enjoy living here. The apartment is close to DuPont Circle metro and a lot of restaurants and bars. It is a great neighborhood. The building is very clean. I do wish rent was a little cheaper. Nice building amenities such as a gym and pool.

Our concierge & management are amazing. The amenities need to be updated, but its still a great place. I love the location- very close to tons of great bars & restaurants. I basically live on the red line (take it to work) so accessibility to the metro is also a huge plus.

The space is tiny and the building is older, but it really helps to have utilities paid by the leasing company. The amenities are a bit outdated compared to newer buildings, but the location can't be beat. Staff is very friendly and most issues get resolved quickly. The only annoying part of service is getting charged for new light bulbs, especially since the halogen bulbs tend to burn out quickly.

Coming from NYC, living at the Flats at Dupont Circle is a great transition to Washington D.C. It is a vibrant area in the heart of the city. It is extremely close to the GUTS bus and the metro. Most students go out in Dupont, so it's very social and the building itself has a lot of MSB students living there every year.

We love the Flats mainly because of:
(1) the ideal location; it's perfectly situated between Georgetown and downtown DC, (2) the great community of people who live and work there; The building has tons of young, fun couples who have adorable dogs. We've made friends with lots of people in the building. The front desk people are incredibly friendly all the time.
(3) the modern, clean style of the entire building (it was recently renovated
, (4) the ample space in our apartment and all the natural light thanks to the floor-to-ceiling windows, and
(5) all the amenities included in the building. There is a pool, large lawn with BBQ, 24/7 access to the nicest gym of any apartment building I've seen in downtown DC, free wifi in the lobby area which has desktop computers, and free wifi and large-screen TVs in the business center/party room on the lower level.

A building conveniently located three blocks away from the GUTS (Georgetown University Transportation Shuttle) that makes it easy to go to campus everyday.
The neighbourhood is fantastic. You have everything you need surrounding the building, except a Trader Joe's or a Whole Foods.
