Hamilton House a bit pricey, but not so bad for the center of Dupont. You can't ask for a better spot, it is right under the circle and just north of M, so there are good restaurants and bars everywhere. The gym leaves something to be desired, but the pool is wonderful in the summertime. Definitely recommended.

Hamilton House can be described in three words: accommodating and beautifully renovated. The old hotel, new individual apartments feel is combined with great leasing, maintenance and front desk staff to have a great living experience right in Dupont.

Close to both campus and to one of DC's nightlife hubs (DuPont Circle). The building underwent a fairly renovation over the course of my 2 years as a resident, which likely will make my rent amount inaccurate for future renters. It's a nice building and the management and staff is incredibly friendly. As far as amenities go this building has a nice rooftop sun-deck (but nothing special) and a very small gym (but it does have a sauna). Also note, the food options in the immediate area are quite limited and the closest grocery stores are Whole Foods Foggy Bottom (0.5 mi) and Trader Joe's (25th/M), which are both a bit of a walk from the Hamilton. The Hamilton House has been an amazing place to live. I live in one of the renovated apartments. It is spacious, and I love the hardwood floors. The staff at the Hamilton House are friendly and helpful. I have had few maintenance issues, and these issues were handled quickly. The location is close to Dupont Circle and U Street. There are quite a few things to do around the area with great dining options.

Hamilton House is the perfect distance from school (a block away from the Aston). It's not one of the cheaper options for off-campus housing but you get a lot of bang for your buck: utilities included, pool, 24/7 doorman. Most significantly, you get peace of mind. I cannot stress enough how wonderful the management company is, as well as the entire staff in the building. They are always kind and happy to help.

I have loved living at the Hamilton House. Management is fantastic, the location is great, and I have had no negative experiences while living here. It's a little expensive, but well worth the price.
