Realistic
The apartment is furnished, the galley kitchen is adequate and the floors are sturdy with sound that rarely carries. Overall spacious and easy to make my own with couch covers and some art on the walls. Nothing is super tech advanced—but there are tap cards required to get in the property. Cannot beat the proximity to the law school. Parking at the Baltimore Grand is also very convenient. Free laundry is nice as well.
Overall—it’s university housing. Not amazing but not bad at all. The staff/on site management is delightful as well.

Great location for me
I enjoy living here! It is close to work and school. I get free printing which is really really nice. A lot of my friends live here too at the University Suites at Fayette Square so it is nice to have them all close by to me. We get to hang out a lot.

Modern apartment, close to UM campus
Fayette Square is the closest modernized housing on University of Maryland Baltimore campus. All common spaces - study rooms, fitness center, lounge at the top-floor, and laundry rooms - were decent-sized and maintained well. Free beverage for residents but sometimes run out and not replenished so fast. Front desk and gated entrance are pluses since the overall safety in the neighborhood isn't so great. Facilities are in good condition, but the higher-than-average rent is the major draw-back.

Great Living Experience
Great experience living in this apartment complex. The only thing I have a problem with is the lack of lighting into the apartment being on a lower level. However, the housing staff has been nothing but helpful and prompt! I would definitely recommend this building to incoming students.

Fayette square
Probably the safest living arrangement for UMB. Pretty expensive but given convenience and safety could be worth it depending on personal preference. Pet friendly. A block from the hospital and graduate programs. Nice place to start first year to settle into grad or work life.

Downtown Reviews
Have only been offered crack once in two years.
Additionally, this area is not known to be a super safe area of Baltimore, but since we are located so close to the school, there is constant security around. I have never felt unsafe walking to and from school and my apartment.
