West Village reviews and highlights
- huge gym compared to most apartment gyms
- easy access to parking garages
- perfectly located in downtown Durham
- high ceilings, modern kitchens with granite countertops, wood floors, and exposed brick walls and balconies
Nice Downtown Location with Great Amenities
West Village is in Downtown Durham close to a lot of the nice cafes, restaurants, and bars. The campus has a mix of new and old buildings, but they all share great amenities. Most of the tenants are young professionals with a few grad students. I love the location, but the only downside is that it's not quite walking distance to Station 9 where most of the Fuqua students live.

Central to Durham and Duke
West Village is perfectly located in downtown Durham right where all the bars and restaurants are that Fuqua's like to go to which makes it easy to avoid FOMO and walk right over to the Social, Tyler's, or Shooters! More so, the apartments are simply beautiful with high ceilings, modern kitchens with granite countertops, wood floors, and even exposed brick walls and balconies in some units. It's better value for money than S9, plus it's really cool to live in a 100 year tobacco warehouse. The gym is huge compared to most apartment gyms and you have easy access to parking garages, parking lots, and two swimming pools. Living here has made me feel more a part of the Durham community, more active with access to bike and running trails just down the street, and close to everything that's going on. I don't know why more people don't live here!
