Beautiful views but apartments vary significantly
Because the building is condos, it is very well kept and generally quiet. Only 20% of units are allowed to be rented and they are mostly Kellogg students (we have 4 Kellogg students living on our floor). The apartments themselves can vary a lot depending on who own them (some are very updated, some less so) so make sure to ask for pictures. Also check the floor plans - there are some really funky ones

Great place for pets
Expensive, but a great place to live for a Kellogg Student. The other catch is that each unit is different so you really need to check it out before renting since you are stuck with a 2 year lease with no subleasing.
Only other bad part is management is strict on all their rules. Move-in Move out fees for the condo complex. And doesn't have super high ceilings like other options (e.g. Galleria). Other than that this place is perfect, has a gym, has parking, most utilities are covered, lots of dogs and students in the building, etc.

Kellogg "dorm" thats close to pretty much everything
Optima Horizons has a disproportionate number of Kellogg students, which makes it a great place to live either alone or with a roommate. It is about as close as you can be to the Jake (about a 7 minute walk) yet is still very convenient to downtown Evanston. In addition, it's very close to both trains. The building, while not brand new, is still very nice and the management does a good job of keeping it that way. Sometimes, they can be a bit strict with some rules, but for the most part, this doesn't create any problems. OH is not cheap, and some other buildings in Evanston potentially offer more amenities, but for the prices that most people pay, it's a nice, clean building that is very safe and convenient. The gym is pretty lousy, but I think the pool and hot tub are the most underutilized benefits of the place. In addition, cable and internet are included in the building fees at a nominal cost to you. All units are owner-managed, so prices can vary, but rent is generally cheaper for units on the west-facing side of the building.

Great Building, but can get a bad landlord
The building is great, close to campus and bars. The price is competitive with other with similar characteristics (although this one is a little small for the price). One issue with the management is that they have been doing a lot of maintenance work on the pool, and because of that it has been close for at least 6 month.

Close to school and town
Optima Horizons is a great option that is both close to Northwestern and close to many bars and restaurants in Evanston. The apartments are filled with sunlight and the gym and doorman provide additional benefits.

Convenient location and great building management
Optima Horizons is one of the closer residence buildings to Northwestern University campus. Other pros include floor to ceiling windows, great views on the upper floors, communicative reception & management, generally nice amenities, and safety. However, the gym could be larger and include more equipment & weights.

Location Location Location
The most important thing to me when I was picking an apartment was the walk to the Jake, and Optima Horizons is at the perfect location for what I need! The walk is 7 minutes to campus and only a few minutes to the Davis El stop. Plus the building is nice, tons of Kellogg students live here, and you're only a block away from the restaurants in downtown Evanston!

Best Location
Closest condo building to Kellogg and also close to all of the bars/downtown area. The unit itself has tons of space. Amenities (gym, pool, etc.) could use some improvement but they're upgrading a lot of the facilities now.

Downtown Evanston Reviews
Cons: Long walk from the Global hub. Closest grocery store is Whole Foods, a bit of a hike to TJ's and Jewel.
