Great for roommates
When searching for an apartment, I often struggled finding floorplans that could accommodate Queen-sized beds in both bedrooms. I discovered that there were more options that fit that need at Optima Horizons than the other apartment buildings in the area.

Excellent Building
The doormen are great and very helpful. The gym is small but satisfactory. The building itself is a little bit old but holds up very nicely. Each unit differs quite a bit given that it is a condo building, but every one I've seen has been great. I love my unit.

OHo is great
OHo is a great alternative to E2 if you are looking to save some money. It is pretty much the closest building to the Glub (15 min walking if you're bookin it) and has plenty of amenities without the ridiculously high cost of E2. The apartments are all very different so make sure to at least check out pictures of your unit before you sign, but we have found management to be pretty responsive. There are definite annoyances like one of the elevators being broken for almost a month, but we haven't had any big issues. We love our apartment!

Great value
Great building, probably the shortest walk to campus compared to other condo buildings. Full service and amenities at a reasonable price point. Lots of other kellogg students live here as well. Centrally located.

Great value for money
Overall it has been a great place to live in. Lot's of Kellogg students.
We have a wall to wall carpet, which at first we didn't like that much, but it turns out to be great for young kids who tend to fall a lot. Try to look for 1 bedroom + den.
The downside is that in one side of the building the train is a bit noisy.
The gym here is not really relevant, but there is a great gym about 30 seconds from here.

Good value for your money
We picked this building because it's as close to the Hub as possible but still right in downtown Evanston. The building is good but not as nice (or as expensive) as some of the newer condo buildings with more amenities. Units are fairly soundproof which is nice. Lots of other Kellogg students live here. Two year leases only, so not suitable for 1Ys.

Depends on Unit
The units in this building differ significantly based on whether the condo owner has updated. However, rents don't seem to vary too much throughout the building so be on the lookout for units with updated hard wood floors versus the disgusting original carpets. Also the penthouse level apartments aren't that much more expensive and are significantly more spacious. Finally, the walls are extremely thin so if you are planning on having a roommate you should seriously consider a layout where the rooms do not share a wall.

Top Floor
Building is one of the closest to the Kellogg Global Hub; has a great staff and is relatively nice to live in. Kitchen/bathrooms are a bit older generally, but do the job.

Double Couple
It’s great. My wife and I are both students and it’s in between campus and downtown Evanston. The location is convenient for class and hanging out. The included parking space is great for our car. The apt is small, but we don’t spend that much time in it.
