Overall, Paseo is a good deal. However, I do think there could be some improvements. One complaint I have is the extra $42 charge for paying rent with a debit or credit card. It doesn't make sense that this charge exists for rent, but does not exist when paying for parking. It would also be nice if parking was charged on a semester basis for those who are on the semester system, instead of having us pay on the quarterly system. I did have a bad ant problem this summer, and I felt like the "ant kit" that was given to me in response was pretty minimum. I think ant traps would be much more effective (which I ended up getting for myself anyway). The laundry machines also don't strike me as very sanitary and I wonder how often they're being cleaned. There is also no real loading zone for moving in and out/unloading groceries which can be very stressful.

Quiet, paid utilities, easy shuttle access to campus, prompt maintenance, subsidized rental rate, great community, AC!!! Small rooms, minor security issues with stolen packages. Honestly, it doesn't get better than this, especially at this price point, in Westwood.

I have really enjoyed living in Weyburn as a 1L & 2L. It's super close to campus, so easy commute. Plus, lots of great eateries and entertainment in Westwood.

Good location

Depressing but convenient

Weyburn Terrace is ok, but not very pleasant when you think about the amount of money that UCLA has. The common areas (hallways, elevators) are NEVER cleaned. The same dozens of dead bugs will litter the front of your door for months at a time.

I guess it's cheap for the area.

Student housing

Weyburn is probably the best per dollar apartment in the area around UCLA. The bus stop is right outside, and grocery stores, bars, restaurants, CVS, coffee shops, the Kinross gym and campus are all within easy walking distance. Still, it's cheap for a reason. Studios are a bit small and get only a moderate amount of sunlight. It's a perfectly good place to live, well worth the rent.

While a nice place to live, El Paseo is too expensive for me to live based on my stipend and paycheck from the department—100 percent of my income went toward paying rent which left no money for food or other cost of living expenses

The apartments are easy walking distance to everything you need, and there are bus stops right in front of the buildings that make getting to and from campus very easy.
