Walking Distance & Great Amenities
I really enjoy living at Aertson Midtown! It is only a 10 minute walk from class, I’m right next to a bunch of restaurants and bars, there are great amenities at the apartment building (study lounge, pool, rooftop, and gym), and it’s fairly quiet! Only downside is you have to pay for parking and there isn’t any guest parking.

Aertson Review
I really enjoy living at the Aertson, especially because of how close it is to campus and how many other students live here.

HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT AND BUILDING CONSTRUCTION
Water leaked into my apartment every time it rains going on three years (since I moved in), and yet they still raised my rent upon renewal despite still not having fixed the problem. My neighbor for a year was the leasing manager and her dog barked all through the night and I could hear her screaming at it, yet she claimed she never heard her dog bark when I confronted her (asking if I could walk her dog for her to help release some of its energy; I grew up with dogs, I get it I wasn't angry until she lied to my face). They repeatedly sent me lease renewals with incorrect information (about 6 visits to the leasing office before they got it right). And midway through my lease they raised my monthly pet fee despite the contractual agreement we had. The wifi in the public areas is always broken, the printer has never worked, the garage is so tight... the list goes on. The only reason I have stuck it out this long is because I am only staying in Nashville for for school and I thought I didn't want to move again. I regret that decision.

Can't beat the location
I would highly recommend this apartment to any VLS student who either 1) previously worked and has money saved or 2) has a second income or 3) finds a roommate. The location is excellent, the amenities are great, management is fairly responsive to complaints; it's just a bit too pricy for most law students.

Close to School, Not a terrible value.
Expensive, but cannot beat the location. Secure, thick walls, decent amenities.

Aertson Midtown review
Great apartment, can't beat the convenience but the elevators sometimes break. Gym is super nice and pool is great as well. I always have felt safe but the one downside is there's not really security so I'm going to give it a 7 even though I have never heard of anything happening.

Aertson Midtown Review
My experience at the Aertson has been great. The floors are quiet, the apartments are modern, and I believe most (if not all) units have floor-to-ceiling windows which provide great natural light. I have had no issues with the actual apartment itself. There are two main challenges that standout (1) the elevators and (2) management. The elevators are extremely slow and generally (on the north side in particular) one elevator is almost always out of service or down. This isn't a huge issue but can be quite inconvenient. It happens more often than not. I would also say the management has been challenging to deal with. They are kind people but very slow to respond via email or even phone. I often have to send 3-4 emails and cc the manager in order to get a response. There have been multiple times I've called and left a message with no return call and I had to go down to the office. High turnover in the leasing office which leads to knowledge gaps, poor communication, and often mistakes or incorrect information when asking questions or when you need assistance with an issue.
